As a follow-up to the 66th International Foundry Conference (IFC) in Portorož, we would like to share a few more impressions from this highly successful conference:
ÖGI contributed a poster to the event entitled “GreenCastAudit: Pathways to Sustainable and Low Carbon Casting Production” – a topic that attracted considerable interest during the conference and was presented in more detail on site by our colleague Peter Liepert.
In addition to the plenary programme, the conference also provided numerous opportunities for personal and professional exchange. This resulted in many interesting discussions with IFC participants and opened up opportunities for future joint collaborations.
Many thanks to the Slovenian Foundrymen Society for the excellent organisation of the conference.
We are already looking forward to IFC2027!
