As part of the ÖGI foundry offensive, the ÖGI visited this time MWS Aluguss GmbH in Klagenfurt.
MWS Aluguss GmbH has its headquarters in Kufstein and, in addition to the branch in Klagenfurt, further locations in Ternberg (mechanical processing) and in Hlinik nad Hronom in Slovakia (coquille casting).
The foundry is a light metal company specialising in aluminium casting and CNC machining, producing complex, ready-to-install products of the highest precision. Its main target markets, are car manufacturers, the bicycle industry and companies in the mechanical engineering and electrical industries.
The site manager, Mr. Hassler, and two other senior employees met with Dr. Thomas Pabel from ÖGI to discuss the possibilities for cooperation in the field of specific corporate training - from the "Foundry Engineer" seminar to the training of apprenticeship. After an extensive tour of the foundry and the laboratories, Managing Directors Mag. Schwarzlmüller and Mr. Hassler explained the company structure, appreciating many years of successful cooperation in component testing and damage analysis.
