Metallography

Each material has its own characteristic microstructure, which is visible by microscopy. Detection of inhomogeneities or non-uniform microstructures can give information on the state of the material, its processing and required further treatments as well as the expected behaviour of the material.

The Metallography is central for quality assessments, material investigations, alloy developments and failure analysis.
