The Austrian Foundry Research Institute is the co-operative special purpose research institute of the Association for Practical Foundry Research. Its exclusive and direct purpose is to generally promote research, development and innovation as well as teaching in the field of practical foundry and materials research. Its activities are carried out on a non-profit basis and are not aimed at making a profit.
